Welcome to Hyper-Strong

An app designed to provide at-home strengthening for folks with hypermobility and EDS.

After spending years treating individuals with hypermobility, we decided to launch a self-paced exercise training app that allows folks to strengthen common weaknesses and compensations. Hyper-Strong was born out of our desire to promote accessibility and quality to folks across the country and to empower individuals with the tools they need to take care of their bodies.

Weekly Programming

Folks with Hypermobility and EDS are critically under-served by their providers, not to mention physical therapist and personal trainers. Very few folks understand what it means to provide strength to a hypermobile body, and I see so many folks who feel trapped in their bodies. Hypermobility is not a life sentence to chronic pain or discomfort or immobility. Many Cirque Du Soleil artists are hypermobile and achieve incredible things. If they can do it, so can you. This program is designed to help you build a strong foundation from the inside out, helping you understand your body, and help unravel the common compensations I see in my clinic.

Videos & Explanations

Every exercise will include a video demonstrating the motion, common compensations, and cues to help you feel the movement where we want you to, and initate the movement using the target muscles. No static pictures. No printed papers with stills of the movement. You're a living, moving being, so your program keeps up with you.

Foundation Building Progressions

Every exercise has a purpose, and will build throughout the series. We're not throwing things in their willy nilly, because it's hot on TikTok or it boosts your ego. These exercises fit together towad more complex movements, and is timed to promote not only the strengthening of your muscles, but the relevant ligament and bone structures. It doesn't have to be big for it to be effective.

Relief Tools To Keep You Out of Pain

Every week will include different relief tools, including trigger point release, stretches, and mobility drills to help reduce discomfort. The goal of this program is not only to strengthen you, but to build you a tool kit that allows you to take care of your body. Hypermobile humans have more motion, and with great motion comes great responsibility, which includes loving self care.
